Revenge of the Mammoth

As our sink has been getting increasingly full and pot supply increasingly low, me and Chambo decided to have a big washup session a bit earlier. We also have been expecting a visit from a man about the kitchen so moved all of Donovans stuff out into the garden.

While drying a few glasses I wandered into the garden hoping to see Donovan confused by the fact his food bowl has been placed outside (he's easily confused). I did indeed see a confused Donovan, but not for the reasons expected, upon the wall next to him sat the wretched Lord Mammoth! Quickly I ran back into the kitchen to fetch Chamb who came out armed with a glass of water. After both sides trading threats and insults Mammoth leapt to a higher wall before slinking away. Don has since resumed his days work of wandering the gardens and sniffing flowers, but I can't help but fear for the poor little lamb. He is still young and no match for such a powerful force. One day he will have to face his nemesis, but he is not ready yet, and maybe next time we wont be there to protect him..

On a lighter note, BioShock arrived on Tuesday and was completed this morning. Good game. Not without its faults, but good game. The twists in its story are nothing new and can be spotted a mile off, yet the overall environment and setting are superbly realised and well above par. A few people complained about the item collecting bits, but to be honest I found that a nice change to simply being told to get to a certain place. Overall it gets two thumbs up.

I'm going to a database conference tomorrow and Tuesday. That may not sound exciting, and it may not be exciting, but it's two days off work right?

Right, back to LegoStarWars.
