step one! make a post to your lj. the post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. the wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related to medium ("i wish for____on dvd!") to really big. the important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you truly want.
step two! surf around your friend's list to see who has posted their list. here's the important part: if you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have that dvd that you don't watch, do it.
keep in mind! you needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to, because the point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to spread the joy. gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. there are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. just wish, and it might come true. give, and you might receive. and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1. To know what you want most for Christmas Please. This one is paramount, all the rest are secondary, but they're there because people yell at me for just writing this one. All I really want is to be able to make all of you smile when you open the bag or rip off the wrapping paper. I just want you to be happy. I want you to get what you want.
2. A picture of you. Your first grade yearbook picture, one from last week at guard practice, a sheet of notebook paper with a stick figure and an arrow that says "This is me." Anything.
3. Some band's t-shirt. I don't care if I like the band.
4. A kiss. I dare ya.
5. Exciting socks. There are never enough when I need them.
6. Scrap Fabric I'm making a mini-quilt for my friend's Dad (and their family. He's suffering through leukemia right now, and they could use some Christmas love, even if I sew like crap)
7. A CD. Any CD! But if you happen to come across the latest by The Fray or Five For Fighting...
8. Surprise me!!!!!!!!!! i love surprises love surprises love.
9. Hang out with me over winter break 'nuff said.
10. A college acceptance letter. haha. rly self explanatory.
