[It's only been an hour since he dropped Amy and Rory off on their second honeymoon. Hopefully this one will be without all the panic and impending destruction. Of course he'd found it all to be rather exciting in a way, but not exactly what the new couple had in mind. Meanwhile, the three of them had come here for a vacation. The Doctor was off examining the local scenery, Tegan was doing shopping and Turlough decided to get drunk, which he hadn't done in a while and was quite enjoying.

[It's been a while since he's been properly drunk, and the prospect of revisiting that states become rather appealing. He drops onto an empty stool beside Turlough and orders a drink]

That one there, with the Arcadian limes. What's that? Yes, that. [beams as he's presented with his order although the pleasure doesn't last long. It looks as though he's sucked on a giant lemon]

Ugh, no, sorry. Not that. Do people really order that? Bleh... [smacks his lips, to get rid of the flavor] What have you got that isn't 25 percent acid?

"Hmph." The chap next to him felt familar to him, yet Turlough had never seen him before. "Read the menu next time." He downed his drink and asked for another.

Naah. Doesn't help. Nothing tastes the same anymore. [he eyes his new drink suspiciously before taking a drink and glancing over at the person beside him]

What have you got? .....[peers at him] Just a minute. [leans in, so that he's well into Turlough's personal space.] I know you. How do I know you?

He blinked at the proximity of the man next to him. "You...might have seen me somewhere?" He took a sip of his drink, eying the man.

Yes... That's probably it. I do see a lot of people. [He turns back to the bar and a few moments pass before he spins around again sharply] Turlough!

Turlough flails at the surprise hug, but there's only one person that could recognize him by name (specifically, last name) yet be a complete stranger.

"Doctor? Get off, gonna fall!"

Turlough wrinkles his nose at the...compliment? "I don't think 'brilliant' is a word I'd use to describe us. 'Explosive', possibly."
