Dean takes two cautious steps into the clearing, deeper into the woods. Between those two trees, he had seen the light, he had certainly not imagined it. It was a bright, shiny white light, the kind that would clearly come to one's attention, if one wasn't a complete skeptic douchebag, or so he thought.
Purgatory was behind him. He had said his goodbyes to Benny, and was on his way to search for Sam. All he needed to do was get out of this goddamn woods, which he would've done by now if only that sudden spark of light hadn't flashed on the corner of his eyes. Whatever it was, it was worth checking out.
The closer he got to the area between the trees, the more clear it was to him that there was a figure on the ground. And upon further inspection, it became evident that the figure was a human body. The living, breathing body of a young woman, blonde, slim...
Why was he running towards her all of a sudden again?
"Jo?!"
It couldn't be her, it wasn't possible, but why did he shout out her name then? He got on his knees next to the girl, who was trembling in fear, shaking from bottom to top, and sat her up on the ground. She was fully naked, and Dean took his leather jacket to cover her with it.
When she turned around, he was facing the gorgeous brown eyes of Joanna Beth Harvelle.
"... Dean?" her voice comes out small, like she had forgotten how to talk.
It was a primitive reaction from both of them, sudden, unexpected, at the same time. Their lips united in a firm, passionate kiss that neither of them planned, yet somehow happened. He climbed on top of her, falling into her thin lips, and she allowed it as her hands formed a tight grip around his back, holding him close, just where she wanted him to be.
They didn't care how, or why, they were meeting up again. After all, in this world, nobody stayed dead anymore.
