Unfortunately, the challenge didn't exactly explode with fills. We're very disappointed in the (lack of!) success of this community. We created it to have fun, to give this fandom a reason to explore their creative side, to help people find things to write about. We've been trying to keep this community alive for months now, but we're failing miserably. Which is why
OneDirectionElite is going on an indefinite hiatus.
We don't know when or if we'll come back, it all depends on you guys. I know life can get in the way of writing, and inspiration might not strike, but you guys need to learn not to tell someone you'll do something, only to give up. This is part of the challenge: having a limited time to do something. We're sorry you couldn't find a few hours in two months to write us a little something and feel proud of yourself.
We'll keep the community up, for people to go through the fics, and if you would like to contact us, please do. If you have suggestions, comments, anything, leave a comment here or send me a message.
Thank you to everyone who wrote at least one fic for either or both of our challenges, you gave us hope that this could work. You're the reason we didn't give up sooner. We love you!
