I'm sorry. It's shitty. Pretty shitty for everyone. My dad was just "demoted" (he's in retail) to save the company money even though he was the best in his district. My company downsized (we had to let 4 people go) at the end of last year. It's awful for everyone ( ... )

I do not know what else to say. I think the mortgage industry is the devil. I really do. My husband was laid off 2 weeks before our wedding in Dec. now we are going on 5 months. He has done a loan here or there for friends or family so we have been okay we are paid rent through the end of May.

But I worry about June..I do not make enough to cover everything. It is scary.

Yeah, the loan biz is tough right now. The interest rates are the lowest they have been in years but it is pretty darned tough to even get an FHA loan right now, let alone a cash out loan. Hopefully it will loosen up soon. I wish you and your husband the best!

Mark, I am so sorry to hear about this happening to you. *HUGS* I have no words of advice, but as always, you have my prayers. I wish I was in a position to help out some, but the paycheck I just received is only for a partial month at the new job and it has to last me until the end of May. As it is now, I am probably going to have to go grocery shopping in my mom's freezer this month. :/

I love you, my friend, and I hope that things turn around very soon for you!

I will take the prayers and be grateful that someone with such a good soul adds me to them.. No worries about the help, I am a survivor and will survive. I hope your mom's freezer rocks!

1) Damn this recession!!! It's crazy that they can just go bankrupt and not pay you - so unfair.

2) Waiters can make around £35k in a year??!?!?! I am totally in the wrong frakking country. lol.

Yeah, it does seem crazy that you can have a job and work and actually bring in money for the owner and then have him not pay. Oh well, Karma is a bitch ( ... )
