ARTIST CLAIMS POST
Hi artists! It is time for you to claim the fics that you want to work on!
Here's how it works:
We will post each fic summary in an individual comment to this entry. In order to claim a fic, you simply need to reply to the comment containing the summary that you want. We're playing this on a first-come, first-served basis, so whoever comments first gets it! In order to claim a fic, you must have signed up here first. PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR THE FIRST SEVERAL DAYS OF ARTIST CLAIMS, ONLY ARTISTS WHO SIGNED UP BEFORE THIS POST WENT UP MAY CLAIM FICS. Please only claim ONE THING for now. On Wednesday, December 23, we'll open the post up for claims by additional artists. To reiterate: We will not allow more than one artist to claim a single work unless every single fic has already been claimed, and you may only claim one work in the first round of claims. When broader claims open up, original artists may claim a second fic; recent sign-ups are limited to claiming just one fic until second-round claims open on December 26.
If you are uncertain about whether you are permitted to claim fics in the first several days of artist claims, please check the artist sign-up posts - if you signed up prior to the mod comment, you are good to go :)
We're posting these blind (i.e., we'll reveal which summary is associated with which writers after everything is claimed) for now. When everything gets claimed, we'll make a post revealing who is matched with who so you can get in contact with each other and start working out the details of the artwork!
