does anyone know if this needs to be on an LJ account or if we can use an AO3 one??

You may publish the text of your completed work to your own personal LJ or AO3 at your discretion; however, all authors must post a fic and art masterpost header to this community as well.

Yes, that is the way we ask you to do it. You will link to the completed work using a masterpost header in this community, but you host the text of the fic at the location of your choice (AO3, LJ, etc.)
