(everyone that reads please let me know what u think good or bad. its a learning process!)

The last couple of weeks have been a scorching haze for our colleagues. A mirage in the blistering desert, halfway between reality and fantasy. The Group ventures out at night for the first time in weeks, like blood to a sharks nose they hunt down the festivities of the evening. As Neal walked in he was hit in the gut by something he didn't expect. He almost physically was moved back, but held strong, afraid that if he moved he would lose sight of her forever. There she was Shana, he felt like he just found the ark of the covenant, the one piece missing. He bit down on his lip in heavy concentration, he has to be smooth, the game must be perfect. First they attack the fridge to fill them up with some courage and like a disease they disperse into the crowd of people, looking for the one to take down and call their own. Neal could hear Barber hollerin' grabbing attention from everyone, good and bad. Tadd was just by Barbers side cracking jokes and having the time of his life, thats how he lived every day it seemed. Raymon was making rounds and having small talk with everyone he knew there, no matter what Raymon always was known everywhere. Neal filled the void between Shana and the doorway as he casually started small talk. His heart can't make up it's mind whether its nervous or not, first it palpitates, and spits out too much blood through the body, Neal literally feels the blood bleeding down the inside of his chest. He revamps his nerves and continues on his meaningless conversation that lasted about 2 minutes. He needed a way to stand out, to radiate to everyone that he was important and they all needed him. They all needed The Revelers. Quick to get this started he rounds the troops up. Drunk with excitement they plan out the attack, they visualize the moves on the floor, like a treasure map leading to booty. They break, Neal felt like he was back to his football days, driving down to the endzone. Immediately, they act on the plan. Barber brings out the shots, Raymon brings everyone in, Tadd starts to make bets, and Neal gets ready. " 21 cup liquor pong my friends, who's in to lose against me and Neal?" Barber boasts, he looked like a ringleader dragging in the crowd and daring anyone to take on the Great. The first new comers come up, Raymon and Tadd on the sides of each table, front row, making sure everyone wants to watch, the hype men. Neal and Barber finish off the first few challengers easily. Then suddenly it hit them like a bus, they needed to take a break quick. Outside Barber and Neal try to shake off the feeling with a few cigarettes, concentrating on anything but the floor spinning underneath them. The sky was felt black that night as the smoke glided through the air like a dragon. Eventually they ended up leaving the party empty handed but full of stories that Neal wouldn't remember until morning when his headache resides and his kidneys revive. Neal laid in bed for a while the next morning trying to remember her face. It was lost in the seas of his mind, he will have to find her soon like a mariner navigating his way home. There he found Helen.
