This is my first recap, so bear with me. I figured for all the hours of enjoyment and boredom relief you all have brought me, I owed you one (maybe more, but the used bookstore only had two Sweet Valley Twins and the rest were lame-o SV Jr. High).

I think this sums up the SV school system perfectly.

I sorta don't like Lila in this one. That makes me frowny. I'll chalk it up to her youth.

Wow, having now finished my first recap, I have to say that for all you wannabe re-cappers out there...the snark really starts flowing once you get going! And I’m sorry it got so long…I hope to get better at it and I hope I did all you wonderful recappers justice!

I was going to do this book but I never got round to it - I'm glad you've done it because it is funny, although you have got to feel for poor Nora haven't you! I'm not a massive Lila fan myself *ducks flying eggs* but even she surpasses herself here. Although, the bullying of Ginny Lu Culpepper in Out of Place comes a close second, mind you!

Oh, and a gym suit is like a leotard isn't it? Either that, or shadow shorts and a T shirt, lol!

Our gym suits were just shorts and t-shirts with our school's name on them. We all had to match during gym class. I don't know why Liz would have to give up one of hers for Nora, though. That seems weird. The school should supply them.

We had shadow shorts and a white polo neck. I don't know what the USA version of shadow shorts is: black sort of tight shorts with reflective black lines running down them. Horrible, horrible, pointless things!

AHHHHHHHHHHH! I remember this one! And the cover--I thought Nora was sooo pretty. I'm angry I don't have time to read the recap right now. Something to look forward too, I guess. :(
