He has fun playing tennis with Steve

It feels as though that should be a euphemism for something...

This was the greatest trilogy. (Was it a trilogy? Miniseries? Arc? Whatever.)

I love the ones where they're working at the newspaper and basically being bumbling idiots.

There are two more, I think, but I only have one of them: Deadly Summer. I'm missing On the Run. The books are pretty fun! It's good to see Jess caring about something other than her tan.

I only ever read Double Jeopardy I didn't know others in this series existed. You learn something new every day!

I was just going to ask, are you planning to recap Deadly Summer? I actually started a recap for it the other day (coincidence -- it was before I read your recaps for this book and Double Jeopardy!) but I can't finish until tomorrow because I saved it at work.

If you ARE going to recap it, though, I don't mind stopping mine and doing another one instead. Your recaps are hilarious!

On another note there is at least one other newspaper Super Thriller. Murder on the Line! Where the phones in the newspaper building are all scrambled so Jess gets to eavesdrop, and she overhears people plotting a real murder!!!

Yeah, Nick treasuring a picture of live-Barbara's dead grandma is pretty creepy. This guy needs some serious therapy. Why is Saint Elizabeth helping him to get involved with a new tragic girlfriend instead of getting him to see a shrink? I mean, seriously!

Hilarious! Although why did I find Nicholas such a dish when I was a kid? D:

... what the hell is this? This book is insane! (Or was that just me?)

And I agree. I thought he'd pitched the dog over the cliff. I felt bad for that dog.
