This is my first attempt at Sweet Valley snark. I hope it passes the time! Apologies for the length! For some reason, I LOVED this one as a child, even though I found Ginny Lu Culpepper to be a huge dork, even back then.

Why is it that every time someone comes in from outside Sweet Valley, they're so very different and can't fit in?

I do love the passive way Elizabeth and her friends deal with it. "We're not going to actually mock her, but we're not going to stop anyone else from doing it, either." Yeah, not really the higher ground there, Liz.

The book as a whole, by the way, makes me want to cry for humanity. Seriously- oh, my God.

Is this book for reals?

I only read about 3 of the SVT books when I was working at a bookstore, and really, the stereotyping horror of this makes me wonder if Ginny Lu comes in at the end with a shotgun, demanding everyone "squeal like a piggy!" or something.

Actually, that might've improved things....
