As many of us are aware, Sweet Valley Confidential fever is upon us. And nowhere in the world is it bigger than right here, in Australia.
Some of you have suggested - and indeed it has been an idea of mine for some time - that we meet up to read/discuss/drink/laugh over the new book on that not-too-distant day, Tuesday March 29th.

That sounds pretty awesome! I think I would be up for that. I would probably have to miss lunch if it's a Tuesday, but any other day or the weekend suits me fine (student. le sigh).

Seriously? I would be so up for this. The only issue is, a weekday is out of the question for me due to work. Would it possible to consider a weekend activity?

Change to the weekend? Absolutely. [I took AL a year ago for this, but thank God not eveyone is that nuts.]

I'm in for sure! I attend synagogue on Saturday mornings, though, so could I join in for lunch and anything that might come afterward? I'd be happy to advance someone money so they could purchase a copy of the book for me.

Maybe it would be a good idea for all the confirmed attendees to have one central person's mobile number, so those of us who can't be there right from the beginning can ring and find out whether you've stayed at the Palomar House or moved on to Guido's or the Dairi Burger.

Thanks for organising this! I'm really looking forward to the perfect opportunity to wear my Team Elizabeth SVC t-shirt!
