What I really, REALLY disliked about this one cookie77 June 21 2007, 13:23:37 UTC
was when Caroline confessed about FakeAdam to her superpopular, dazzlingly beautiful sister who had never taken ANY notice of her until Caroline conjured up a boyfriend. Caroline had given an abbreviated version of the "I'm so lonely and I wish I had friends!" speech to Liz earlier, and Liz had had a fairly reasonable response ("A good friend cares about other people," or something to that effect). But the older sister, having gotten the full force of tears and desperation, sits her down and spends an hour telling Caroline EVERYTHING she's ever done wrong in her life and why people should wear garlic around her. During which sermon Caroline "really listened, for the first time." Instead of going upstairs and slitting her wrists.

I mean, really, would that not break your spirit, to hear an HOUR-LONG RECITATION of what a worthless POS you are? You'd think there's no way you could ever redeem yourself, so why bother. And that was the end of it: she offered NO guidance on how to be a GOOD person from then on. Hey, bitch, why didn't you share your wisdom with her earlier? And come to think of it, how does the sister even know so much about Caroline, her actions and characteristics? She was supposedly so busy being popular, they hardly knew each other! So much hate. People can't change if they only know one way to be.
