You know, I used to think the girl who posed as Melissa was really pretty. But then I bent this book the wrong way and cracked her face on the spine in half and...now she just looks vaguely demonic. You know?

Melissa came home visibly distraught, and her parents did not check on her and left her alone in the house all day EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW FULL WELL THAT SHE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE.
OMG. Parents worse than Ned and Alice?!?

Apparently his house is bigger than Fowler Crest.

The Fox parents are made of fail, seriously. After I read that chapter I stared at the book with my mouth open. Ned and Alice don't even notice when their daughters are kidnapped! How can you be worse than that?! GAH!

Hilarious recap. And wow. I thought there couldn't be worse parents than Ma and Pa Wakefield, but Melissa's parents are giving them a run for their money.

I have to admit that just the tile alone (YOUR BASIC NIGHTMARE!!!), is pretty awesome in it's overly melodramatic way.

I imagine after telling someone that you're their basic nightmare, you would snap your fingers in a Z formation before walking away.

(btw, I like your icon :D My friend had an obsession with Transmetropolitan when we were twelve and I still squeak in surprise whenever I see it on LJ.)

Heh, I like to imagine Spider Jerusalem's reaction to these books. He'd swear a lot, do lots of drugs and totally read every single one of them, I think.
