Mr. Boyd got fired and had to move to Sweet Valley to take a worse job

Wait...something in Sweet Valley is actually worse than the rest of the world? What???

I copied that exact sentence for the same reason when I read the recap too. That's got to be a first and only moment for SV. O.O

OMFG!!
The writers really outdid themselves with this one.

There are so many things wrong with things book, I can't think straight.

I know they made the parents look bad just so the kids (ie Liz) could swoop in and save the day, but, seriously?? What lesson does this teach the reader??

This is worse than SVH #69 Friend Against Friend, and I didn't think that was possible.

Ugh. Good on you for slogging through it. <3

You are so right! This is their biggest FAIL to date! You know the most depressing part? That the parents all want him moved to another school for having the audacity to be abused! Chilling, Ghost Writer, chilling.

I have to admit I find this part realistic. When my parents got divorced in the late '70's I overheard my neighbor's mother telling her: "Don't you play with (wordsmith) any more: her parents are DIVORCED! That little girl is TRASH!" My hometown was as narrow-minded and stuck in a timewarp as Sweet Valley.
