Since Jessica's running after some dude who doesn't seem to be interested in her, and since Elizabeth's still Elizabeth, I'd put my money on the title of this book being extremely misleading. Although, turn the book over and the back reads, in big block letters, "IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK." Odd. What's not what I think? The stupid title? I don't

Haha, yay! I made the same observation about how stupid the name "Bugsy" is in my recap of the SVU book 'The First Time'.
She corrects herself when she calls Tristan by his first name, and then addresses him as Mr. Patterson. I find that funny, because at my university we call our tutors by their first names. And our lecturers as well. Maybe that's just crazy Australia for you.
Yeah, so did I...crazy Australia! Incidentally, I have a friend whose last name is Patterson, but I just call him Patto. I guess that's Australia for you.
They're talking about Jessica and Tristan, only Jess won't give them any details, I guess because dating a TA is, like, against the rules? I don't know. Buffy did it.
And the whole government-engineered secret demon-fighting society plot of that Buffy season probably wouldn't be out of place in Sweet Valley - yikes!
She also hilariously describes Finn as being "unjerklike

About that Coyote Ugly pic...what?? Is Tyra Banks in Coyote Ugly? I don't remember that at all. I guess since I only saw it once and thought it was too crap to see again.

I have indeed read your 'First Time' recap, and think we must assemble some sort of anti-PRUDE task force. Glad you had the same thoughts about stupid Bugsy, although I must admit that the "who for some reason was named Bugsy" quote is actually Elizabeth's.
And would you believe it -- I have a friend whose last name is Patton, but we call him Patto as well! We may just be soulmates!
