Since Jessica's running after some dude who doesn't seem to be interested in her, and since Elizabeth's still Elizabeth, I'd put my money on the title of this book being extremely misleading. Although, turn the book over and the back reads, in big block letters, "IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK." Odd. What's not what I think? The stupid title? I don't ( Read more... )

I remember this book better than many of the others. Always thought that the Todd/Dana relationship was the most pathetic thing in the entire SV universe. I think Todd the Serial Rapist was born in that apartment he and Dana share.

It's always stuck in my craw that Liz didn't sleep with Finn. She's got to be the only woman alive who never managed to sleep with a douchebag. I'd have liked her better if she did. Happens to the best of us, honey.

Urrrgh, I feel your pain. I got this from the library a month ago and was planning on recapping it, but considering that the only awesome thing about this book was Neil I kind of gave up. Well done for staying awake long enough to write this for us!

Well, he did stand her up on that night he was gonna make a romantic dinner for her. That is pretty cry-worthy when it's your bf.

Great recap! It sounds like there were a lot of random subject changes (Finn to Chloe, etc.), but maybe the ghostwriter was trying (badly) to tighten up the story so it didn't drag on like most of the other books. I bet it didn't work, though.

And I think Shondra sounds more interesting than all of the rest of the characters in this book combined. Neil doesn't count because he was only in the book for, like, two seconds.

Yeah, it was really drawn-out and boring. There was so much I skipped over just beause it was robbing me of my sanity.
