On topic: The Finding Nemo thing? Classic. :) And car phones! Ha! I remember those. My dad had one and it was cool using it every now and then. *snerk*

I'm surprised the Wakefields haven't been given too much play in this one. But compensating for that is Bruce Patman's innate combination of cheesiness and magnetism. :P

There was also one scene of b plot that involved the twins making cookies with their little sisters. I left it out because it had no relevence and also because it made me hungry.

I would live it if the ghostwriter was intentionally referencing Kristy Thomas of Babysitters' Club fame!

Also re: the Finding Nemo thing, I am totally picturing Todd as the angry Australian crab towards the end of the movie. :-p

Hey, good point! V. similar names, both sports lovers. And I think it was once mentioned that Kristy's real name is Kristin. I bet Kristin wears turtlenecks all the time.

PS: COMPLETELY OT but...how stupid a film name is "The Constant Gardener"?? I want to see it just to find out why it's called that. Is it seriously about someone who gardens nonstop? I actually burst out laughing seeing it at the video shop earlier.

I can't think of anywhere other than ff.net and I don't think that there's much decent stuff there (and I've looked D:). It tends to be lots of drippy Liz/Connor stuff. I once wrote some "end of days" type fic for a multi-fandom challenge, but that was about six years (and several computers) ago and I never posted it online, it was so bad.

Someone should totally start a 1bruce1 fanfiction community. Those Liz/Connor fics are SO SRS. Not a pool push to be found.
