Dude, I was looking for this book forever, because I am way too invested in the whole Jessica/Melissa rivalry of SVSY. AND THEY BROUGHT RONALD RHEECE BACK. I AM IN LOVE.
Haha, much win for the Mean Girls references. "B Plot is almost too gay to function" <3
(And yeah, Melissa tries to commit suicide the first time Will dumps her. XD)
Ronald Rheece (for those of you in the know, was he ever mentioned in a previous SV series?
Ronald Rheece was in Sweet Valley Junior High - he's Jess's geeky locker partner in book #1, then develops a crush on her. I didn't read far in that series so I don't know if he ever did anything exciting. But I am So Impressed at the continuity here! Did they ever use anyone else from SVJH? And why is it always the 'nerds' that get re-used? (I'm thinking Randy Mason in SVU)
They brought Jessica's boyfriend, Damon, from that series back to show her the Importance of Choosing Education Over Love in one of the later SVSY books (it was recapped here). Of course, she stays in Sweet Valley anyway, so it's not like it's that important.
