Sweet Valley High # 87: My Best Friend’s Boyfriend
I would say that some ghostwriter saw The Truth About Cats and Dogs and got inspired, but this book came out four years before that movie. Must just be a coincidence, then.
That redhead looks freakily like Sharpay from High School Musical. I spent ages trying to work out where I'd seen that face before.
OK, if this guy is so attracted to Ginny's voice, wouldn't he notice that Denisepay's voice is different? Or if not, at leaat notice when they do the tripod date that Ginny's got the same voice as Hotline Girl? Whoops, Earth Logic.
After fielding a call from Shelly Novak about how stupid she feels being tall
Can her mother please take her to the birth defects ward at the hospital and show her people with real problems like she threatened to? Also, that recap is totally to blame for my current ANTM addiction. And the fact that whenever I read the name "Jay" in this recap, I think of Miss J and his hairy ashy balls. (Shit, I just typed "hairy ashy balls" into Google on the work computer to find the page. *deletes from history

Thank you, now I am going back through all fourfour's ANTM entries. I would love it if Jessica were a contestant in that show. But she would probably get the shit kicked out of her by Lauren, who is my hero.

Well, he does tell Denise that her voice sounds different from over the phone, but he never assumes she's not Ginny. Why would he? And then, when Denise wants Ginny to come on their date, Ginny points out, "Duh, he'll recognize my voice." Denise tells her that even if he does think she sounds familiar, he'll never assume she's really Ginny, because that would be "against human nature." And sure enough, when he meets Ginny, he knows she's familiar somehow, but he thinks maybe he knew her from when he lived in Navada or something.
