So just what would I do for a nice totebag?

Kill? Mame? Stalk? Steal an identity? Spread rumors?

Sure, but since I'm at work, I guess writing the world's best essay would work just as well.

Once, I was asked if I could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?  I answered "Sweet Valley of course!"  And I mean it, too!  Where else can you go and be in the heart of a fashion capitol and meet all sorts of interesting characters that just make life so interesting?  I mean seriously, like Lila Fowler is my fashion icon!  She's so classy and French couture personified!  I rush through my newest copy to learn all the latest fashion so I can put together awesome outfits like Lila's.

Plus everything you need to learn in life you can learn in Sweet Valley.  SVH can't be touched by those cheesy so-not-real-life after school specials they show on TV.    When Regina died?  I sobbed for hours and hours.  I vowed that I'd never touch drugs.  I'm not saying Nancy Regan should die, but I never listened to her "Say no to drugs" crock until my poor Regina died.  Don't tell my mom, but I buried my copy as a loving memorial to Regina.

But SVH didn't just teach me how to stay alive (ah ah ah ah stayin' alive, stayin' alive. . . ah ah ah ah stayin' aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiivvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee), it taught me how to love life, to live it and embrace it!  Elizabeth and Jessica made me realize that it is okay to go after what I want- be it justice for women working at a Hooters rip off or making sure the pure white reputation of the cheerleading squad is maintained.  Plus when it comes to men?  SVH taught to grasp the man I want by the horns and fall madly in love with him!  Sure it may not last forever, but that one sweet moment of love is worth the break up and nastiness and the whole crazy coming-back-from-the-dead stalker issue.

I just have to thank Francine Pascal for Sweet Valley High.  I've learned so much about myself and what I can be and what I should expect in high school.  I just can't wait for the next book!  I save all of them and I plan on giving them to my kids someday.  Seriously?  Like the best books ever!

I wish I had a picture of me in the 7th grade.  I sporting some jank hairdo with these big ol' mid-90s glasses.  I was hot.
