The Caitlin series
In honor of Francine Pascal resurrecting her Sweet Valley cash cow or cows (since it's Jess and Liz I'm talking about here) I vote the Caitlin Trilogies be added to 1Bruce1 because I honestly can't think of a better Live Journal Community place for them. They're more of Ms. Pascal's Frankenstein "Spin Offs" after all! She even included the first chapter of Loving at the end of Sweet Valley High's #18 and, just in case the reader had been living in a cave, #19 too!
I snagged the last copy of Loving years ago from the local bookstore (as I could tell they would soon disappear forever, *NOOO!*) and was lucky enough to find a couple others from the Promise Trilogy at my library's used book sale.
I'm game for recapping Loving to kick off a new section on the Community Page if it's OK with the 1Bruce1 Powers That Be and hopefully other die hard Sweet Valley fans will come out of the woodwork and dig out the copies they have hidden under their beds (come ON I know you still have yours!) and we can all drown ourselves in snark because, if I remember correctly, some of these books were just stinking RIDICULOUS!
If this is a bad idea please say so and I will crawl back into my hole.
