This is my very first Sweet Valley snark, and I know this one has been highly anticipated. Weirdly, I didn't think it lived up to the hype I remembered 13 years ago. Anyway, hope it doesn't disappoint!
...wow. That book at least clears a few things up for me, now that I've read some of the later books and had no idea what the deal was with the "Angels."
She didn't even HAVE a character in SVT. She was just a generic older Unicorn known only by her name, like Betsy Gordon or Grace Oliver. I don't see why Lila follows her! She's too coooooool! ...*sigh*
the unicorn books were always my favorite sweet valley books (i was too young to get into SVH). i remember this one well. i always liked the cutesiness of the "new" Unicorns so i was said when the whole split happened, especially since Kimberly really was just horrible, and the shallow Unicorns were not as exciting for me.
but, this book made possible book #7, "too close for comfort," which was super-hilarious, so I guess it was worth it.
I LOVE #7! I went home last weekend and got 3 boxes of Sweet Valley books, and I re-read that one. It's missing the last page or so, which pisses me off. :( It's a far superior book, mainly because German measels = WTF?
I was thinking about recapping it, but like I said, my book is missing the last page. If someone can fill me in on the very end, I'll work on it for sometime in the next week or so.
