I find it funny that Bruce asks if the cocained was poisoned. If we're to follow this book's line of reasoning, cocaine = poison. Also, since Bruce is so damn concerned about the bad crack, has he tried good crack?

Haha. We never do see him loudly annonce he'll never try it!

You know, Bruce causes a lot of harm in this series. *nods sagely* Bad karma, Bruce.

I'm surprised no one smoked weed in this. I mean, loads of people I know smoke weed but I've never met anyone who did coke. Guess Sweet Valley is more hardcore?

Thanks for the recap! It was good ^^

Or maybe Sweet Valley is just everything the real world isn't?

... darn it, you're right. Why did I read these books for so long? How many brain cells did they kill?

It still kills less brain cells than bein' on coke. Shrug?

He says he's her biggest fan and has three copies of that magazine she was on. Three seems excessive. I mean, what did he do to the first two that he needed a third?
Ew!

Regina refers to the Porsche as Bruce 1 not 1bruce1.
She may have been "brave, heroic, deaf", but she sure was DIM!

Mimi goes to Sweet Valley College (it's never “University” in the early books, I've noticed)
I thought "college" was more accurate, because I considered SV a suburb, and therefore it wouldn't have a proper-sized uni. Oh, was I wrong! *snicker*

When next we cut back to Regina, she is drunk. I am hoping they mean she has drunk more than two sips of a beer since last we saw her. But considering the “Night to Remember” magic vodka, I'm not sure.
*giggles*

Her last words are: 1) It's no one's fault, 2) Nicolas has been a good brother, 3) She wants to see Liz and Bruce, and then she slips into unconsciousness. Damn that's a lot of final words. If I were dying I'd just say “Ow!” or “Holy shit I think I'm dying!” I wouldn't really be concerned about Liz and ( ... )

I think you're right. College would be more appropraite. And the town certainly isn't big enough for a college and a university.

Deaf AND a heart murmur? Boy, did she get poked with the birth defects stick.
She's so heroic to have made it this far!

Though I did want to slap characters while reading the recap, but that's nothing new ;-) )
The more characters I want to slap, the better the book I think. Makes for funnier reading. :)

Actually, it's not that rare for someone to have a bunch of problems that sort of fold together. Usually that's how it works. I have a heart murmur along with my other issues. ;) In fact, it's surprising Regina didn't have any problems with vision or balance, since hearing problems can originate where all that other stuff does.

He thinks Bruce ought to be the one to tell Regina something is up, and everybody else should mind their own damn business. Jeffrey really doesn't fit in at Sweet Valley High, does he?

You might even wonder why the hell he's dating Elizabeth "Everyone's Business is Mine" Wakefield.
