Jerry's not even a count. He's a count without the 'o'. The 'o' is where all the class is.
Best line ever!

I get points! I know who that is! Woot! He wasn't my favorite villain though. I liked the lady with the blonde hair over one eye because she had Tim Curry as a sidekick computer.

You're too cute, pointing out how freaking ridiculous & impossible the entire concept is.. Then stopping yourself & reminding yourself its Sweet Valley. Hehe ( ... )

You are not wrong. I was totally disgusted by them, for both their age and their bodies. Hello, tweens love girlie, non-threatening guys! That's why boy bands do so well.

In all fairness, it is possible for a teen to like an older actor from back in the days when he was a heartthrob. Like, for example, I know some teens who like Michael J Fox - but they tend to like the way he looked back in the '80s, as opposed to at his current age. Although, they do also like him as a person.

Still, since it is the Unicorns we're talking about - that's pretty unlikely. That's especially true, if the actor was never a teen idol to bagan with.

But Michael is adorable and unthreatening, and was a teen icon for a while there. Jean Claude and Arnold never were. They were bulky bodybuilder types who generally did movies that tween girls didn't want to see. Like you said, not really a teen idol type!

Michael is more along the lines of Johnny Depp and Leo DiCaprio etc- totally cute to a teen audience when they're young, and young girls still like how cute they are in their old movies.

... yeah, I agree, this book was ridiculous. And kind of an odd end to the series!

i'm so disappointed that they didn't get into cooler hinjinx at the mall. the climbing wall...? you know lila would have been straight over to the classy beauty salon giving makeovers. or better yet, making the others give her makeovers.
