Well, if you hadn't gone and posted to the whole network, I'd say you could probably get away with binding...

I'm trying to remember what Ken did when it happened to him... I think he just stole Aya-chan's clothes while she was sleeping and listened to me make fun of him.

...Binding?

[It takes a moment for it to click and then-- oh. There's the comprehension in his eyes. And actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. He'll look into it anyway.]

Wait. This has happened to Ken-kun?

It left him a bit sore, but it only lasts a week--assuming it was a card.

Sorry; someone should have warned you about the cards.

[Forget the warning about the cards. Omi just did.]

Sore? Youji-kun, what happened?

[...long pause. Serious look.]

Whatever I say remains between us; is that clear?

[Omi can actually feel the temperature drop of this conversation. You have his attention, Youji.]

...Yeah. It's clear.

[God, he has a bad feeling about this.]

I don't trust the filters. Where are you? I'm coming over.

[Dreamberry clicks off with nary a good-bye. Youji uses the ten minutes to not fasten the top three buttons on his shirt, although he does finish his coffee and throw a light jacket on before stepping out the door.

On second thought, he pours the rest of the coffee into a thermos and grabs a half-empty package of cookies from the cabinet. Caffeine and sugar: the two things nearly every woman can appreciate.

It takes three long strides to get to Omi's apartment, and the said Omi is sweaty and flushed, making Youji think iced coffee would have been preferable. Oh, well. Laying the thermos and cookies on the low table, he leans back against the wall. Once Omi catches his breath, he goes right into it. No greetings, no preamble.]About a year ago, you picked up a different card, the same one Sena picked up recently. You must have been out and about at the time, because you were found by a couple of other people. They're no longer in this world, but I'd spoken to one of them before and neither Aya nor I trusted them. However, they gave ( ... )

[Coffee. Bless you, Youji. Omi doesn't even care that he's in need of something cold. He takes several sips of the hot drink and allows it to take the edge off his nerves. He's still horribly apprehensive about this, but coffee helps him feel more braced for it.

He needs a few moments just to absorb what Youji has said thus far. Oh, those ominous last words...]

Youji-kun...

[The ridiculousness of it all. Youji sounds bored in order to conceal the residual anger.]

I'm fuzzy on the details here, but someone made a post taunting Ken about having you. Well, hot air rises same as hotheads. I suppose Ken was frightened, so he went after the guy in order to save you.

I had a broken leg at the time, and... I think Aya was keeping watch over you. I called Aya to see if he could corroborate what I'd been told about who had you and to tell him Ken was trying to get himself killed again. He told me he was going to call Ken--I don't know how that went, but Aya, Sena, and I received a text about then, because Ken, for once, was considerate enough to warn us of his impending idiocy.

Aya and I called back, trying to get him to stand down, but Sena, who actually could give Ken a run for his money in the 'reckless stupidity' department, went after him as backup. Damn lucky thing; Ken had been beaten within an inch of his life and given one of those gender cards.
