Oh that...the giant tree thing was some sort of plot device I dreamed up. Since Ryuusei has the tree mark, the dead tree is sprung up as his means of destruction. It's initially supposed to be the sleeping form of the EBG, and isn't really supposed to be activated with the silvery lines unless there's a duel going on, but there's rarely any sort of duel going on in the DR...so I figured that the EBG would just be summoned by sacrificing NPC's. This also involves my hypotheses on what I think happen to people who are sacrificed, but that doesn't pop up until Light Half.

And it's not more like he's become the EBG, it's more that he's possessed. Anyone who's seen 53 (I think...) of 5D's may remember that Bommer got possesed by his when he tried to come to and realized the folly of his dueling. Something similar is happening with Ryuu. After his initial rampage in his home world, Ryuu and Yuu made a pact to work together to try and restrain himself so that the EBG wouldn't be able to take advantage of his vengeful emotions. However, Yuu is the good half, the half with the conscience. He was the one who had to help restrain Ryuu by restraining his own emotions-since they share emotions of one person, if Yuu restrained himself, it would help Ryuu. But with the memory loss, Yuu had forgotten that he had to hold Ryuu back. That made it easier for the EBG to break through.

Ensnar'd is the mun being silly. ^^ So are the "book titles". I read too much classical literature.

Hopefully this explanation helped some? ^^

Hmm...really? I initially thought it was the EBG that was forcing him to do so, but that voice did sound very Rudger-like...I guess what's happening to Ryuu is somewhat inside their own canon, then. :3?

Ehehehe. I guess it's been a while since that actually happened, isn't it?

I guess there's not much point in becoming evil and killing off the Signers seeing as they're revived three hours later. ^^; Ryuu's method doesn't really involve killing, it's just emotional torture.

Mind if I jump in? At least my DSs I think are evil. Rudger has a rep for being that way and has done some pretty awful things. Misty is....well kind to non-Signers because she doesn't have anything against them but she is rather evil towards Akis. Some of the DSs aren't even truly evil like Carly for instance. That and what Gale said above yes ^^

Sorry, just wanted to add my 2 cents~

Sure, tis fine to jump it. :D I expect there are proper justifications for the DS's not fufilling their duites, like DS Carly not wanting to be one in the first place, and the reasoning you gave to your DSs (Rudger himself is excepted, he's been pretty much evil the entire time except for his recent angsting, but that's fine). Ryuu himself isn't a normal rampager because Yuu keeps him in line most of the time. But I guess what (is that Marcus?) was thinking was actual large scale rampant destruction and I dunno what. :/

Yeah its Marcus.

Well, large range destruction needs mod approval for one thing and most people don't want their pups to be sucked up for EG summonings. Rudger is also been jossed in canon which is also why he has been rather calm as of late.

True. Thank goodness for NPCs...

I plan on keeping the god's activites restricted to the outside of the DR, tho'. Would that limit it enough?

Yeah, it mainly applies to the actual building, everything outside it is fair game.
