a new respect
tonight i watched a show that made me think about life and what i'm doing in it right now. It was a christian show. Now I'm not really religious at all although i do have a belief, but there are some things that just make sense from this show. At first i thought, oh it's one of these shows that want to convert me or make me believe in a specific thing but really people, it's not that at all. I didn't finish the show and say wow i believe EVERYTHING they said. Instead I said, they have a good point and it is the same with my own ideas/beliefs. You can believe what u want to believe, right/wrong, it's ur choice. It doesn't always have to do with religion. U can make religion the drive that forms ur belief or helps u with ur actions/choices but it's up to you. I learned a few mottos that i think are pretty important or have some sort of meaning to everyone.
1. NEVER leave the one you love, for the one you like. (I love this saying. Personally, i think this happens way too many times in our society. It's part of the many reasons that make us broken.) But this also has a common sense to it. If the person is bad for u but u love them, think about it. Is it really worth it? In my opinion i say no.
2. Don't conform to society. Just because society says "this is right" doesn't mean that you have to submit to it. okay murder is wrong peoples. yes there are exceptions. those are the NO DUHS. in a way be a rebel but don't be stupid.
3. If u don't know how to relate to the opposite sex, u don't know how to date. U're wasting ur time. If u don't know how to relate, forget about ever mating. This is for the playas out there. All i have to say is WTF... yea it's cute for awhile but think about it. in the end, u're going to be alone.
4. Ladies, why are we selling ourselves? seriously, i don't know what exactly the purpose of wearing near to nothing does for anyone. It just makes us look like objects and gives men more of a reason to treat us like we're trash. Do u really want that? If u think the whole u can look but u can't touch is FLY, think again. what kind of men do u want to be attracting? the men who last short term or the men who are actually dedicated to u? In addition, why the hell do u need a man to tell u u're beautiful as u wear a skanky outfit when u should already know it? in my opinion the whole saying about men keeping in their pants should apply to girls in the fact that some ladies need to keep their assets hidden. They are valuables after all.
5. Some say that dating lots of people is the way to find the "perfect" someone for you. However, i think that it's a load of BS. You know what u want because u know what u DON'T want, go find it. I don't mean settle for what's there. I mean find that one person who actually shares some of ur strongest beliefs and GET TO KNOW THEM. i don't mean shoving ur tongue down their throat and THEN getting to know them. Why are u wasting time on someone like that? Find someone who is GENIUNELY interested and would rather talk first rather than get physical. That is the person who will stick with you even when u're old and scary looking
Hmmm... wow this has definitely been one of my interestings posts. it's Pretty good considering the fact that I'm writing it this early in the morning. I'm sure some of u thought that it was all common sense but fact is, I said it and now u can actually see what's going on in ur head. If u want to post comments, I highly encourage it. I love hearing ur ideas even if they're against my own. any comments are welcomed except for those ones that call me a bitch. those are DEFINITELY not nice!
