weekend: yay and ick
so now since suzanne put a vastly long post i thought i might try to see if i could.
friday was really fun. class was boring of course but then i went on my "you dont know your a leader but we think you are" retreat. it was freaking awesome!!! I got to know a lot of awesome people who i would never have met otherwise. now we are all facebook friends. yes we are weird but then again when have i not been slightly off? i also discovered a wonderful new activity: slacklining. Its basically tight rope walking on a one inch line. its addicting. thats what we did at midnight on friday. I didnt go to bed til 1 and had to get up at 7:45.
saturday was doing a ton of team building activities. it was completely fun and we had the greatest time. it was very freshman retreat without the complete awkwardness. and the greatest part about it? i met this guy named jeremy who lives in the dorm across from coltrane. he is the sweetest guy! i mean he is a true southern gentleman. hes religious (but not too much) and he doesnt believe that girls should be treated anything less than a princess. not his words, mine. but he doesnt even cuss in front of girls because he thinks its rude. When we finally got back from the retreat i had to get ready for my date that i didnt want to happen. met him at 7, walked to dinner, walked around campus at least 5 feet away from him at all times, he made the excuse to go to his dorm to get his laundry, got it and took it up to his room where i stayed on the other side of the hall away from his door, walked to the movie, met jordan and my friend jeremy, watched the movie, talked with jeremy all the way back and ignored the other kid, he kissed me good night on my forehead, told me that he wanted to see me again and i said maybe, jeremy and patrick came to our room (only after i saw david peck who told me i looked beautiful because i was wearing makeup), went over to jeremy and patricks room, went to bed.
sunday i had to go sing in a tiny town at this church where they served us really good food. then i got back and got stressed out because crazy kid has decided to completely read into everything that i did and said and has proceeded to drive me insane because he likes me...a lot. enough to write me a huge ass letter about how he thought that jeremy was obviously single because he looked like he was hitting on me. if you want to read the conversation just tell me. thanks for listening guys... i know this was a long post.
