100 Things: Day 3 (MPAA Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, and language)
Since I've already mentioned this movie this morning, why not?
Bar Starz stars Jon Bernthal, Derek Waters, Charlie Finn, Jenna Kramer, and a bunch of other people that I've never actually heard of. The basic premise is that this guy, Barry, breaks up with his psycho girlfriend and moves away to college with his friend Douglas. Douglas is determined to make Barry one of the "bar stars", the elite who can get past the velvet rope into any club. In order to do that, Barry enters a contest to become one of five candidates to become an intern in Donnie Pintron's crew.
I freely admit it - the ONLY reason I watched this movie was for Jon Bernthal. And I did enjoy it - Donnie Pintron is a hoot!
I can definitely recommend this movie for a laugh. And, of course, for the Jon Bernthal eye candy factor :-)
