Not too long ago, I decided I wanted to do some of my True Blood-style reviews for The Walking Dead. Now that I have the DVDs, I figured I'd better get on that.

Under the cut, there are pics, spoilers, my opinions, random fangirling, etc. Click or not, the decision is up to you. I do want to warn dial-up users - this post is murder on bandwidth. I ( Read more... )

Excellent review darling :D

I was sickened by the little girl zombie but I am oh so glad they did it that way! It really showed the horror of what a zombie apocolypese or any other major disaster really, would truely be like. I love that about this show!THey show so many human emotions!

Thank you sweetheart! I'm so glad you liked it! :D I had fun putting it all together :D

The little girl zombie bothered me a bit for a few minutes. Usually I can't deal with violence against kids or animals at all. American Psycho wrecked me. But, as you said, it was necessary for them to prove that they're willing to go the distance with this. It is what it is - kids won't be spared just because they're kids. They're prey, the same as you and me.

It looks like it was fun putting it together. :D

I usually cant deal well with violence against kids either. Animals dont bother me AS much but it kinda does. But this show handles it so well, you could see how much it bothered Rick to have to do it and I can just imagine him having thoughts about it pop up in his head at later times too. yup totally pray in that new world of theirs.

Agreed, the show handles it really well. It's gritty and raw but the survivores still have their humanity, as best as they can. I know it hurt Rick to shoot that little girl - police training be dmaned, that was intense!
