Monday Bonus Prompts
How's Monday treating you? It hit me pretty hard upside the head when the alarm went off. I'm doing my best Snoopy dance to try to pretend it doesn't hurt......blah. :)
I bumped into a list that made me laugh the other day - top ten ridiculous reasons people have called out sick to work. As I was reading them, it dawned on me that some of them could make for fun fic prompts. So......
My favorites are #1 and #6..... how about you?
1. I accidentally got on a plane
2. I caught my uniform on fire by putting it in the microwave to dry
3. I had a gall stone I wanted to heal holistically
4. I got stuck in the blood pressure machine at the grocery store and could not get out
5. I got lucky last night and when I woke up I didn't know where I was
6. I woke up in a good mood and didn't want to ruin it.
7. I'd been at the casino all weekend and still had money left to play
8. I was sitting in the bathroom and my feet and legs fell asleep. When I stood up, I fell and broke my ankle.
9. My plastic surgery needed some tweaking to get it just right.
10. I just put a casserole in the oven.
11. And a bonus from my own working life --- a guy I used to produce news shows for says someone called in sick at his station years ago and the reason....... they felt too sweaty to go in.
