Weekend Challenge: Even More Film Noir, Femme Fatale edition :):)
Greetings cats and kittens, I’m in charge of the Weekend Challenge on this second weekend of February and I decided we needed yet another round of film noir quotes but this one is strictly femme fatale related-WOO HOO!!
Femme fatale is literally translated as fatal woman so the quotes could be about the woman or it could be her own spoken dialogue. And remember, film noir is filled with hard-boiled dialogue which is the literary equivalent of a quick punch to the gut and because the quotes will be all femme fatale related, expect lots of quotes about how gorgeously dangerous the woman in question is. Here’s an example: “She was a dangerous beauty, with a smile that could lure men into her web of deceit.”
Now if you want to go along for this ride, load your gat, put on your gumshoes and trench coat, and join me in the drizzly, treacherous world of noir. Just choose a number between 1 and 30 and I will give you a film noir/femme fatale line.
I hope this craziness inspires you, so please be as creative as you can--drabbles/fics can be as long as you want but at least 200 words and you can do any sort of art work the spirit moves you Just post your work by Thursday night at 11:59pm EST, and you'll be golden. Lastly, HAVE FUN!!!
