Hi there! It's Blursday again (my favorite term I've learned since this WFH thing started)... *but* this Blursday is the start of the weekend for me and that's still a thing to celebrate. Hope it is for you, too
( Read more... )
Why, those pushy devils. :) Well, they asked for it, so...
Scenarios: A character must suddenly travel to a distant location. An awkward veterinarian and a funny royal begin bonding over a common interest. A character finds their love interest in a compromising situation!
Places: Unimack Island, Alaska Arapahoe, Nebraska Lake Mackay, Northern Territories Australia
I hope these inspire! And don't get them into too much trouble. Maybe a *little* trouble, though. ;)
The lead character sees a cute carpenter in a new light. A major character is informed they are a parent! A new job leads to an exciting new relationship.
And for things: A piano An oil painting on canvas An armchair
Oh my... all three of those are ripe with both angst and chaos! (And I've actually been toying with that middle idea for a year or more now and I'm sure you can guess which one will get accused. LOL)
I hear you! I have WIPs that need posting, dang it. I really must write this weekend. Meantime, I hope this inspires!
A character finds a love interest in a difficult situation. The magic in the air turns out to be more than figurative! A geeky cab driver meets a quirky biologist. (well, that's pretty specific!)
Ha. Yeah, I hear you - I'm good at that myself: not enough time or focus, but I keep putting out bunny food. :)
Your scenarios: A character does something completely out of character, and everyone must figure out why. A protagonist turns out to have been evil all along! A minor character looks after an injured major character.
And then, there's this: Person: A Pop Star Place: Loch Monar, Scotland Thing: A helmet
That's great! :) Glad the prompts provided words. It's always notable to me that it's really easy to fall into a scene you've written - even though I have no idea where it's coming from. The context is most deftly woven in, and it's an intriguing little world. Very well done.
Scenarios: A character helps someone overcome an emotional trauma. Characters in a fantastic world or job/life mission suddenly find themselves living perfectly ordinary lives for some reason. A character gets away to a rustic village and meets a quirky person who might be trouble.
And here's a mix for you: Person: A professor Place: Loyalty Island, The Coral Sea Thing: A long satin ribbon

Yes, I did immediately envision Zayne, lol. Hmm..... 'accused' suggests he won't end up being the papa, though. Still...plenty of room for agita.

PS- Blursday is featured in a really interesting post - one I found featured in a Dreamwidth group I subscribe to. Worth a read: http://sunsinherbranches.net/2020/04/19/we-are-all-in-mythological-time/

I'll take the 3 scenarios, as well as a person, place, and thing...and we'll see what I can cobble together

I’ll also do the person, place, or thing. Why not.
