Wow did this week fly! I don't know how it's the weekend, but it is- and hopefully this one brings you some time for creative endeavors. This post is all about helping prompt ideas, so just let me know you are in and I'll send you three things

Scenario: Your character(s) wake in the night and turn on the light but it's not working. What are the possible reasons for this?
Dialogue: "Did you brush your teeth?"
"Don't change the subject."

Well, it's funny but it can have a dark little edge to it. :}

Word Soup: tin, bright, handy, car, system, ball, taste, sore, tendency, cloudy, dynamic, clear
Scenario: A close member of your character(s) family has committed murder. Would they keep quiet about it? What might their silence depend upon?
Dialogue: "Don't name it, or you won't want to eat it."

Score! I think a lot of these might get used (although that scenario reminds me of something else I wrote earlier this year).

Not sure where that quote came from, but it's making me think of A Fish Called Wanda. "Don't call me stupid!"
