Happy Friday, folks!
This is my first shot at hosting so be gentle. Or not, the choice is yours. But beware, I have a crazy cowboy and an irritated redhead at my disposal should things get out of hand.
Your theme for this weekend are quotes from one of my favorite authors - Armistead Maupin, author of the infamous Tales of the City books, among other things. I know H is a fan, but does anyone else know his work? I found him in the strangest of ways - via a mention in a Stephen King novel. I’ve been in love ever since.
Choose a number between 1 and 18 and I’ll hit you with a quote. Give me 200 or more words by Sunday night at 11:59 PST and you’ve won these fabulous prizes… or, rather, you’ll win your choice of a handful of icons, a banner, a drabble, or I can add words to a WIP. My PS skills are not very high caliber, but I shall do my best! My list of fandoms is small, but if I know it, I'll give it a shot.
And because I can’t resist, I leave you with this:
“And this was what bothered him about owning a VCR. If that cowboy was yours for the taking-yours at the flip of a switch-what was to stop you from abandoning human contact altogether?" ― Armistead Maupin, Significant Others
