one of the best things about boston was on monday night when jameson and i drank a lot of vodka, found a matchbook with a picture of george bush sr. on it, put on hats we found in the closet, went up to the roof, tried to burn the matchbook, failed because it was coated, and threw it (along with about 20 matches) over the roof.
today at work the internet was down for a long time and i stared out the window and made mental lists, mostly about what i could do with myself after college without hating myself. i came up with very vague and unavoidably poor-paid things along the lines of what i'm doing now. i also made lists about things to do in ireland. those are much more concrete:
connemara national park, catholic mass, dublin literary pub crawl, museums, belfast, playing with amy, aran islands, killarney, kissing the blarney stone, planes, trains, automobiles, sligo yeats memorial, giants causeway, the abbey theater, etc etc etc.
i am cold and bored and sleepy and waiting to leave for j's house for family dinner.
