Received two nice compliments yesterday (context: competing at a taekwondo tournament)

#1) "You'll be dead for three or four days before you finally fall over." (Re: my stubbornness/perseverance against crappy odds)

#2) "Yeah, but you're all muscle." (Re: comparing body weight with another grappling competitor/semi-regular training partner)

Things are busy but good. Work last week was terrifically dull but not bad, per se. Yesterday I slept in absurdly late and then had black belt class all afternoon. Once I got home Audrey came over and the three of us had dinner and stayed up late talking. I made it to Duluth around 9 last night. Jon and I spent all day trying to fix his car, which eventually meant recharging the battery about 4 times, draining the gas from the engine and letting it dry, and then putting on new spark plugs.
