Books books books. I know you can do it.
I need science fiction reading recommendations. Things like Ender's Game or Zahn's Conqueror's Pride trilogy are right up my alley. I shall extend 'science fiction' to include surrealism and dystopic visions like Catch-22 and 1984. Extended 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek' semi-canon works need not apply.
