I Update Regularly Because I Am Put-Together And Responsible. And Shit.
I have had a wicked dry/sore throat for over a week but with zero other sickly symptoms...until this morning. Now I am stuffed up with a headcold. Just in time for my weekend in Duluth. >_< Booooooooooo. Also I have been increasingly stiff and sore in the joints lately. I don't know if my bed is suddenly shitty, or the working out is making adjustments, or what. But I do not like it.
So yeah. Heading up north tomorrow morning. The plan is: lunch at the Grace, shopping at Duluth Pack, ice skating in Bayfront, check into the Voyageur Inn, dinner at Hacienda (?), drinking with some folks at Sir Ben's. Then Sunday brunch and the afternoon with my parents and Kay, then home. I'm excited. It will be nice.
Things are good. Jon bought me that awesome necklace for my birthday, and flowers, and a really nice candle holder to complement my Kuan Yin statue in the bedroom. We went out to Applebee's on Tuesday with some people: Tabby, J-rod, Spencer, Kay, Griffin, and Chris. A whole bunch of other people were supposed to come but cancelled at the last minute. :( But our server was super rad. I got a mango margarita and a white peach sangria, both of which were awesome.
So yesterday I decided to commission Tabby for a painting based on Orgy's "Stitches". I hate this video so much and don't think it does any manner of justice to the song, but whatever. If you haven't heard it, listen.
So yeah. She and I talked about where we want to go with it and I think it's going to be beautiful. I'm excited.

I think that's it. I am re-reading Redwall books. So far I am through 'Taggerung', 'Mariel', and 'Pearls of Lutra', and am getting into 'The Long Patrol'. I looked up a list of the books online and I forgot how many I don't own! Also there are a surprising amount of them that have come out since I stopped keeping up; I think the most recent one I read was 'Triss', or maybe 'Loamhedge'. There are like 5 since then. O_O
Ummmmmmm. It is time to make foods and possibly get dressed. I have been cooking more lately, and it's awesome. Every day is better when you start and end it with a full plate of actual, homemade food. :)
