Road trip!
Hey, just wanted to let you guys know that Jonathon and Spencer (his roommate) and I made it to Green Bay around 2 o'clock this morning. Jon and I and his best friend Amber went to The Pancake Place for brunch and then we went for a walk/hike/mudslide at Baird's Creek. Tonight we're going to see The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with Jonathon's dad, and tomorrow he's getting a tattoo at Artrageous Ink. (He got an industrial last weekend! Wooooooo, it's way hot. *swoon*)
Yesterday was...a long day. I got about 5 hours of sleep after hanging out with Heron on Wednesday; we went to Caffetto and then wandered around Uptown eating a baguette. I left him at Plan B cafe and took the 6 to France and MN drive, then walked home about 4 miles, packed for the trip, and collapsed into bed. It was really wonderful to see Heron, though of course our conversation was dark and serious. I miss him when he's not around. Anyway, I had to get up early to finish a project at school; Brittney and I blazed through the recording and then headed to Applied lab. I nearly fell asleep in Rehab--and that was doing the work, not even on the table! ;-) Work was merely so-so, and then Jonathon picked me up and we headed out. And here we are.
Now it's time to curl up with him and watch Firefly. =D Peace.
