Why I love living by myself.
I mean, of course I love being able to do what I want when I want: go to bed, get up, eat, have people over, play loud music, etc...but I really really enjoy the little things. I like grocery shopping for myself and no one else. I like washing my own dishes--just my own dishes. I like knowing I have a phone bill to keep track of. I like writing checks. I like figuring out bus schedules. I like worrying I might forget my house key because I know no one will be home to let me in. I like working, because I know I have rent to pay. I like having my OWN computer, where I can save whatever I want and visit all the sites I want without checking the history. I like stocking my backpack every morning because I know I won't be back home until late. I like buying Febreeze and toilet paper. I like washing towels and sheets and things like that--sundries. I like having to put out the mail and take out the garbage and I like not always having to put on a shirt if I don't want to.
