(no subject)
not a whole hell of a lot has been going on since my last entry...
i've been super lazy... what's new? i'm behind on homework... and really don't care at this point... no, really, i do... i just have no energy... i'm going to try to get caught up tomorrow as i plan on only working on cleaning the basement and laundry, otherwise...
i fell down the basement stairs last monday and hurt my back pretty good. i didn't go to class that night because i was having spasms, and i figured that sitting in a chair for 6 hours was going to be hell... so i just lounged on the couch for 6 hours... ben went to his mom's and then went with a friend... and he was "nice" enough to leave the kids here... i asked him to take them, but he threw a fit so i just told him to get the fuck out. my back's still a little sore, but i'm doing alright now.
ben and i haven't been getting along most of the time, lately. i'm so fed up with him i really couldn't care less if he fell off of the fact of the earth. i'm pretty sure he doesn't care about me. just today, i went to my grandparents' and my parents' houses, and he texts me to ask if he can come over to frisbee golf with jason. whatever. then after they were done, he asked if he could go fishing with jason and jesse. i told him not to be drinking, and then he texts me, "i'll just go home. i didn't think it'd be that big a deal." to which i replied, "yeah. it must be a big deal not to drink for once. just go. i'm not coming home." i don't know if he went or not. he was here when i got home at 9p with the kids.
last night was our family halloween. the kids were all so cute. apollo was spiderman (the red one) and raven was raggedy ann. he hated the mask, and she hated the wig so they didn't last long. apollo started getting sick at school on thursday. he was very hoarse, and he was feeling like shit last night. he only trick-or-treated for like 45 minutes, and then he came back and lounged. the rest of the gang was out for most of the time. grandpa wasn't feeling too hot, either, so they left early, too. it was a pretty disappointing halloween.
my birthday was on thursday. i'm now 24. geez. i'm getting old. i got lots of "happy birthday"s, though. it was really nice. my brother was a day late, but he still called and sang me the "happy birthday yesterday" song. he's such a dork. and my cousin, emily, called me at 12:30a to try to be the first one to wish me happy birthday. *lol* i love my family!
i have to get my schedule figured out for my spring semester already. thankfully, i get to take all 6 classes online so i won't have to drive anywhere or worry about finding a babysitter! i'm so excited!
it's 14 days until our first wedding anniversary... i'm not sure if i'm excited or not...
OH! how could i forget?! ben and i attended apollo's first parent/teacher conference on thursday. i'm so proud of him. his teacher had nothing but nice things to say about him. he's on track... actually a little ahead of his age group. she said that she'd love to have a classroom full of apollos. *lol* he loves his teacher so much... he's actually disappointed when he doesn't have school.
raven has been doing so well, lately. we're doing great with the pottying still. there are still ocassional nighttime accidents, though. the tantrums are getting fewer and farther between and less intense. it's kind of like a breath of fresh air.
