Um...this might sound stupid but...in the TV studio I worked for we called clothespins C-47's.

...but I don't think the Admiral wants clothespins, he probably wants the airplane to take apart and use for parts for the Barge. That's just the first thing that popped into my head.

Clothespins? Well they sound useful to me.

And he doesn't even know it

Well...yeah, they are, they help hold in the gels on the stage lights and don't heat up. I guess he might need something to pin things in place that won't heat up. If that's what he wants, make sure to get wooden ones. Metal gets hot and plastic melts.

They're also excellent for hanging up clothes!

I think it's lovely of the Admiral to think of our laundry.

I kind of hope he's thinking more about fixing the Barge right now. I mean, clothespins are good for a lot more than laundry, so I'm sure he is.

Or perhaps he's considering that fixing the Barge may produce an unpleasant odor, and is just being thoughtful again!
