I have always suspected that dinosaurs weren't truly extinct, but simply hiding out in the unexplored headwaters of the Congo and the Amazon...or perhaps the Scottish highlands. And I was aware that they were probably unpleasant. But I had no idea quite how unpleasant

How did you know any of that about dinosaurs?

We mostly just dug up their bones. But it's hard to imagine they just disappeared completely.

It's not that hard to believe.

It certainly is; they're gigantic.

You don't know. Something could have happened. It's not as if it's impossible.

Yes, but nobody knows what happened. And you've got to think that if something came along and killed things that large, one would notice it. Or that it'd at least leave evidence.

You would think that, wouldn't you?

But it's not always the case.

It's sad, too, to think they've all died. So I'd prefer not to.

Which sorts have you met? The flying ones are terribly annoying.

I have seen giant ones with big clubs for tails, but they didn't want to hurt anyone.

What are the clubs for then?
