In a way, certainly! Much of it went over my head, as I've said, but I was just pleased to get to speak to Martians at all, really, so I didn't mind.

Yes, precisely. It's funny, but I can never tell what sorts of dogs Violet will like. Some she goes right to, and others she'll just ignore, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with size or type or anything.
