This is so real. You really feel for Gene's struggle, and you've written it so fresh, so immediate. I was right there with Gene feeling ashamed for his feelings. And I was there when he surrendred to them. F**king awesome mate! :D

Cheers! I'm glad it worked for you. I was worried about Gene's 'voice', because it didn't feel to me much like how he talks, but then I realised what I was aiming for was that he is different inside to what he projects. It's so good to hear that it felt real! Thank-you for feeding back :D

Oh... oh I, I just... I mean, this is just fucking brilliant. The imagery, the rhythm, the sex - my god - the sex.

And Gene. Because honestly speaking, it's been a while since someone showed me him from a unique angle, gave him a unique voice that was completely his own and yet somehow also more.

Made of win dude, just made of so much win.

Thank-you, that's so kind! As I've said above, I'm particularly glad you liked Gene as I have him here. I love the Gene character in spite, or more likely because of the fact that he is so tricky to understand and write and I wanted to get him right.
Cheers for feeding back!

So, I'm more than a bit incoherent right now, because this was made of the fucking WIN (no pun intended) and you need to write more. Like, right now. For the greater good.

(And yes, I was too busy languishing in the awesomeness of this to do proper tags the first time I commented.)
