Let me set the scene:: You are employed in a fairly well-to-do position at a very well-known corporation. However, the rules of your job state that certain behavior and the association with certain types of people is strictly forbidden. You had just been fired from another, better corporation, but let's forget about that fact for a moment, shall we?

Arriving at a new location, you finally come to your senses and get together with the one you love (ect.). For the first time in your (possibly infinite) life, you just may be happy, or a semblance thereof. You work hard, and actually succeed quite a bit with your job.

However, one by one, your co-workers start arriving. And they are not happy. Not just with the quality of your work. Oh, no -- they're also displeased with your g- .. damned personal life. And firing you is not a solution that they choose. (Being fired from this job would almost be a bles-- something good.) First of all, you are brainwashed. When that doesn't work, the threats begin. And now, you are rather outnumbered, burned/injured, insulted, and think that you might possibly be going insane. (I wonder why.)

In summary: Not the best day.
