Don't worry too much about Moore or his film on this one. In fact, the only person that's probably really pissed about the situation is Harvey Weinstein, who had big-daddy-Disney smack his hand and remove what could possibly be Moore's biggest financial success to date. What with all the publicity 'Bowling' got (pre and post Oscars), and now all of this, plus the rising Anti-Bush sentiment among the populace pretty much guranteeing this movie making a nice bundle.

Word on the street says that Lion's Gate is already sniffing around the still-warm corpse though, so hey not all is lost.

I have issues with Moore occasionally, but this is a pretty sad statement by Disney, and no one deserves that kind of treatment, especially when they are just shining light on facts people already want to know about.

The only real issue I have with Moore is that he occasionally goes a little overboard. Satire loses credibility if you take it too far.

That's a big one with me as well. Well that and his use of editing and trickery to get what he wants out of people. When you are the biggest (and humorous) documentary filmaker in the US, who specializes in exposing corruption and lies in the corporate and the government world, you shouldn't need to splice and dice interviews to make people say what you want, you already have unlimited ammo. Doing so just seems a bit dirty and underhanded. Which is what he's fighting. Right?
